Syon Park

The singing trees

The singing trees

Until my sister searched for ‘things to do in London over the weekend’ none of us had heard of Syon Park or the fact that for the past 8 years it transforms into an Enchanted Woodland for three weekends only. Taken over by fairies the trees are lit by Illuminations and music. Since I quite enjoy being one with nature, I paid the park a visit last weekend and it’s truly beautiful.

Throughout the whole walk there were homages and tributes to fairies. It added a lovely, innocent air to the whole thing and all the kids around me loved it. As did I.

This was the only part of the walk which prompted me to take my gloves off.

Laser Show

The walk, a mile in length, ended with a laser show, which I would have paid the entrance fee to see alone. It was a wonderful end.

Syon Park’s Enchanted Wonderland is open for one more weekend and with ticket prices at £7 for adults, I highly recommend it.
