Dinner at Ping Pong

Waiting for food to arrive is always the hardest part of any meal

There aren’t many things I love doing more than trying different cuisines, and since London has so many choices on offer, there is no reason for me to stick with a tried and tested favourite.

Last Friday, I along with Sister and some friends paid a visit to Ping Pong a restaurant specialising in Dim Sum.

Sister and I both ordered a selection of veggie options which included the delicious vegetable rice (pictured above). Edamame beans and mushrooms? A heavenly combination.

Sister’s drink of choice had actual wasabi peas in it. As these tend of make my nose explode I was very careful about how much I tried from her.

Also part of the vegetable selection. The friends we went with ordered a veritable meat feast and they also had something similar.

My choice in drink was slightly more exotic. I ordered flowering jasmine and lily tea. It started off as a bulb in my glass. It ended up with this and tasted amazing.

My stomach is rumbling as I type this, a sure sign that the food was a success.
