London’s Portobello Road Market is known for being exciting and fun and full of treasures. One such company, Her Curious Nature started off as a single stall in the market but now has nationwide renown as wells as concession stalls in TopShop and House of Fraser. The brain child of Sabrina, Her Curious Nature was also at London Fashion Weekend and when I visited the shop my hair was transformed. This may not be all that astounding for any of you but consider that I was channeling my inner Wednesday Addams and what Sabrina did was pretty cool.
Sabrina’s designs are decadent and glorious and I see anything I put in my hair going easily from day to night. She certainly has the ornate pieces on sale, those that are really for special moments, but the ones I have truly fallen in love with are those that are as beautiful but things that I can wear to work.
You all know I have serious issues with headbands which have the only goal of torturing my head and I have never wanted to buy something like the band above without trying this look first (and up until that moment no one was actually willing to do that to my hair in a department store).
It took Sabrina all of twenty seconds to twist and tuck my hair into this vintage head band. What’s more nothing hurt. I have always wanted to look like a princess – think more along the lines of Disney rather than Kate Middleton – and this was the look I had in my head and was never able to recreate.
I don’t think it will come as a surprise to anyone when I saw I bought this headband.
