Walkin’ in a Winter Wonderland

Ah Winter Wonderland where the rides are numerous, the market all kinds of fun, and the weather freezing cold. The whole shindig finished last weekend and I made sure I managed to see it all before it closed.

Of course there were rides and games. I don’t know why but I always expect all the rides to be child friendly by which I instantly think boring. Not in Winter Wonderland that’s for sure.

I loved, loved, loved the market. The smells of all the food, the hand crafted items – all really fun to browse through and taste. There was this one particular garlic chutney which I really wish I had bought. It was delicious.

It was a lovely way to spend an early Sunday afternoon though I expected it to be a lot busier than it was. There was room to breathe and room to walk which actually surprised me. But it was a very, very pleasant surprise.
