All about the crime fiction – #KillerFest2015

KillerFestI love my crime fiction – it’s the one genre my mum and I can talk about non-stop. We swap books, give recommendations, and generally chat and chat and chat. So when I was lucky enough to be one of the bloggers for #KillerFest15, a crime festival with HarperCollins and Waterstones, I jumped at the chance.

The festival starts tomorrow at 2pm and will have a massive online presence. So if you, like me, can’t make it to all of the live events happening across the country you can still be a part of it. The line up is amazing – I spent a good long while just staring at the names involved – what fantastic talent!

The full programme can be found here here. And this is where you can find the line-up of everyone involved in the festival.

I, along with all the other bloggers involved have given our top crime recommendations here. We had to limit our selection to five – when I started compiling this list I knew it would going to be difficult. I didn’t realise just how much until I got to numbers 4 and 5. So there might be a number 6 (I regret nothing)

Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie

Disclaimer by Renee Knight

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson

The Suspicions of My Whicher by Kate Summerscale

The Daughter of Time by Josephine Tey

The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith

My wonderful blog was also profiled so if you have ever wanted to know more about me and my love of crime fiction then make you way over here.

I can’t wait for the festival to begin tomorrow.
