I love this picture. My mum snapped a shot just before I did a HIT (High Intensity Training)bl workout in the garden. I also had real fun doing my hair like that and channeling my inner Princess Jamine. If any of you ever want to try it I can tell you all that it didn’t stay up. It was fine since I was working out in the privacy of my own garden but in a class is have been obsessing over it.
I have been running for so long that I find running relatively easy. With HIT training it’s a completely different story. I’d love to blame the weather in London right now (hot) but it’s all me and my lack of stamina. But this is my next challenge and I want to build my power and non-endurance strength and muscles. It’s also so wonderful to work out outside and the excellent weather made everything far more fun since there was an element of not killing any insects.
So maybe I should call this post my mid-year resolutions, adding to throbbed I set in January. I want to become more comfortable doing yoga. And I want to do push ups for a minute without my arms shaking and my strength vanishing.
