I have very specific fitness goals. One of them is to get this plank looking more like a straight line and less like something, well, less straight. I want to bring my bottom up and have my arms be able to take more of my weight.
With this angle I look better, and you can see just how hard I am working my looking at my neck. But I want to be able to lower myself even further and have my arms support me without shaking and crying in pain. I am lifting weights and can get lower when I try to do a push up so I am progressing (yay!).
Basically it all comes down to my arms and core. From the shape of my legs you can see that my core isn’t strong enough to create a straight line and this is something I am definitely working on. I have wanted a firmer and stronger core for years and even though I am stronger than I have ever been, I want to improve.
These are two goals I am working on. Running helps so much but I need to add more specific core training and more weight training. Frankly, summer is the best time to try!
Also, I can’t get over how much I love these leggings. They are perfect for long Winter runs so after my very short HIT workout in the sunshine filled garden I was dripping in sweat, but they are incredibly comfortable and just make me smile.
