I promise these two things are connected. And not in any sort of tenuous way either. With their Fit to a T collection, Ted Baker is one of the newest faces in the fitness market, a market which seems to be going from strength to strength (I like this because it means a lot more diversity in styles and prices) and to celebrate they hosted a selection of themed rides in Psycle one of my favourite spinning studious in London.
Our instructor for the evening was Sophie and she was dressed in the new collection. While I would have loved to admire her clothes for the whole class, once the lights were dimmed and the music began I forgot about everything else: it was just me and my legs and some excellent tunes.
When we finished I was able to take the above snap of Sophie. How lovely do the clothes look? I shall talk about them in more detail later.
A lot of sweat went into making this photo (possibly why I love it so much). Ted Baker were also wonderful enough to give us all smoothies at the end of the class and it was the perfect hit of protein.
Now onto the clothes. The collection consists of leggings, sports bras, short sleeved and long sleeved tops, as well as bags.
I think the floral motif running throughout the collection is beautiful. Not only does it unite the whole collection but it adds a hint of femininity to it all. Especially when you consider the soft pastel colours. I have’t tried any of the clothes so I can’t go into more detail but with sales just around the corner I suspect something from the collection may end up in my wardrobe sooner rather than later.
