I never thought I would go without blogging for two weeks’ yet that’s exactly what happened. I love blogging and I love all of you wonderful people who read my posts. Yet in the past two weeks I haven’t been able to blog. Usually in posts like the bloggers say that they were loving real life and taking a break from their phone / the computer / social media / their blog. Yet that’s not what happened to me.
To be completely honest I don’t know what I was doing. I am sleep deprived and feel a little like a zombie. I don’t want this to be a post of me complaining, BUT HERE I GO COMPLAINING.
Renovations are happening at home in all of the upstairs bedrooms which means everyone is sleeping downstairs. SIGH. Every single sound wakes me up every single time. I am exhausted and the dark circles under my eyes are immense! And that means I am finding it hard to concentrate at work and don’t have much energy to do anything once I get home (usually my prime blogging time). I have also stepped up the running and the training. If I am waking up at the crack of dawn every day I rather go for a run or do a HIIT session rather than force my brain to engage with my work inbox.
And this all means I go to bed early, wake up even earlier and seem to do nothing other than work and run by myself. In that sleepy, physically exhausted haze blogging has rarely occurred to me. But I want that to change. As I said I love this blog and LOVE my little corner of the internet. So I want to promise you all that I will be getting into a schedule of blogging again. There are so many posts I want to write and I am tired of using sleepiness as an excuse.
So I have my herbal tea / coffee substitute (because I am still not drinking coffee) and babes, I’M BACK!
