If you follow me on Instagram you might have noticed that my life isn’t exactly how I want it to be right now and this is probably one of the most stressful times for me. I recently went for a run where I sobbed most of the way (running is cathartic!). While there is so much of the big stuff I can’t control, there is a lot of the small stuff I can. And these little things are getting me through the days and weeks.
Who went to Stylist Live last week? ME! I treated myself to a VIP ticket and headed to their new venue in Olympia London very, very excited. I went in 2015 and 2016 and loved it both times. My VIP ticket also included a Thrive session – one of the sessions you can book and I decided to get a Quickfire Introduction into Coding.
My first ever sports bra was a Shock Absorber one. I loved it and it suited my needs perfectly. However after working out more and developing muscles on my upper back, shoulders, and arms I found it really difficult to take the bra off. Enter stage left the new Ultimate Run Bra. I was so excited to try it on and do a few workouts with it. My review is below!
When it comes to my hair I usually go to a lovely salon, get it cut and then leave it in that style for about three years before noticing my split ends and deciding to do something about it. This time I didn’t have the chance to be so neglectful and my hair was very, very thankful when I was offered a complimentary session at the new RUSH Hair & Beauty Salon in Westbourne Grove.
If my hair could, it would have been jumping for joy.
As a petite woman I still have to be convinced by boyfriend jeans. They look amazing in theory but then as soon as I put on a pair I look like a small child playing dress up. No thank you. In comparison skinny jeans are everything I could ever wish for. And the other day I popped into Zara and tried on a pink pair which I now can’t and won’t take off.
