September is here and it’s the start of my favourite season! I love Autumn – for the colours, the food, the long sleeves! For me summer was hard work and slightly sad and already September has started with me in a calmer and happier frame of mind. I can’t wait for everything this month holds for me.

This month’s 7 things is slightly different to normal. It’s August, it’s Summer, and holiday season is here. Even if the London weather isn’t playing ball (yet, all us Londoners live in hope) my emotions are definitely linked with the longer days and long stretches of sunshine. So instead of 7 things I want to achieve or work towards this month, this is my Summer Wish List. It is also one of the most fun lists I have ever written.

Personally May has always been a bit of a blah month  (sorry for everyone who has a birthday this month!) because nothing ever seems to happen. It’s generally wet and slightly damp. It’s also more or less cold and not all that pleasant. However only a week into May and the weather has been glorious!

I have spent most of the month outside, either running or walking or gardening. It’s been lovely and glorious and all kinds of wonderful. Coming up with my 7 Things has also been a pleasure. This month I feel hopeful and happy.
