In London it’s so easy to fall in love with free stuff. I have been so lucky with some of the cool stuff I have had the opportunity to do and it’s all the more wonderful when it helps championing women’s fitness. A little while ago Adidas opened their Women’s studio in Brick Lane. They have classes ranging from HIIT to yoga to run clubs. What’s more everything is free – you sign up via Facebook Messenger and if you are lucky enough to get a spot you head to Brick Lane and have a wonderful time.
Trainers are a staple in my wardrobe. As a runner I spend a lot of time in trainers. What I really embraced over the summer was wearing trainers with all things non-lycra, like this beautiful midi dress.
Last week adidas celebrated the launch of their new Pure BOOST X running trainers with a series of events in London. There were the trainers all of TeamGB had been wearing in Rio and I really wanted to try them on. The event I went to was a 45 minute HIIT session hosted on the roof of The Printworks Club followed by a 3k run to The Sports Edit.
I have two pairs of black leggings in my wardrobe – they are perfect for the days when it’s so early the sun hasn’t risen yet or I am not in the happiest of moods. Most of the time though I choose to ditch the darker colours and my wardrobe is full of printed goodness. Now that the sales have started I have added two more printed tights to my (ever increasing) collection.
Recently adidas celebrated the launch of their brand new show Pure Boost X (designed specifically for women) by having the best sort of part – a week long fitness festival with yoga, HITT classes, and supper clubs. I was lucky enough to get a ticket for Faya’s (she of Fitness on Toast) and Melissa’s (she of Fempower UK) HIIT class and I had such a brilliant time.
