Barry’s West has arrived! After four years in London, the studio has finally opened their third studio in Queensway and last week I had the chance to try an exclusive Nike x Barry’s West class led by Mr PMA himself, Faisal.

For the uninitiated of you (like I was about a week ago) PMA = Positive Mental Attitude and as far as I am concerned this is as important as physical health. I have been lucky enough to train with Faisal before – he’s always encouraging, motivating, and has the best tunes! (Seriously, I was singing along for the whole class)

While I can’t run, I HIIT and when Meera (@TheCityFittie) invited me to try Another Space London’s HIIT class I was there faster than rash on a skin in winter. There were so many things about this class I was looking forward to, including but not limited to Saheed also being there, Courtney being the instructor, and that this workout required gloves because we’d be punching a bag.

Rebounding is one of the newest and most fun fitness trends I have come across since it involves jumping on a very small trampoline in order to get fit. It’s low impact (so great for my knees), thoroughly enjoyable, and very effective. I can’t tell you how excited I was about this class, not only because I won a Rebounder a little while before and had no idea how to use it but also because it’s a trampoline that I get to jump on as an adult.
