I always jump at the chance of reviewing classes. Once upon a time there only seemed to be three in all of London, and they were all targeted to people who weren’t me. Now of course London is awash with very cool fitness classes to try and last week I had the chance of going to Speedflex. Speedflex is a London-based studio where the main draw is this incredible piece of kit used to work your whole body.
I feel like I need to give you all a massive hug! This week has been hectic for me and annoyingly I have had to put the blogging and fitness on hold but I am now back! And I got to kick start my week yesterday with an amazing class at Edge Cycle all thanks to Nimble Booking. Nimble is a very cool fitness class booking system, one where you can invite your friends to the same class from within the same site. For their launch they teamed up with the amazing people at Be:Fit London and are offering a whole week of free classes! Of course I didn’t want to miss out and the first class I went to was an Ab Attack class at Edge Cycle.
There are some things I never thought I would be able to do but when Health Bloggers Community posted about a special Sushi making class run by chef Makiko Sano I knew I couldn’t miss it. I would never get the chance to part of such a small and intimate sushi making class again (there were eight of us), especially one run by someone as wonderful as Makiko.
I am such a fan of trying out new exercise classes. Like a butterfly I like to drift from one flower (class) to another (class) with the only constant in my life being running. Last week I had the chance to try two classes. Both held at 1Rebel, the first was their Reshape class and the second their Rounds class (which is a mixture of Rumble (boxing) and Reshape).
Last week I went to my first ever Pilates class. Elle and Sweaty Betty had joined forces to run a Pilates class in every single one of their stores on the same day at the same time. I bought a ticket for their Selfrides boutique, location was later changed to their Kings Road store, and counted down the days. I had never done Pilates before.
