When it comes to my hair I usually go to a lovely salon, get it cut and then leave it in that style for about three years before noticing my split ends and deciding to do something about it. This time I didn’t have the chance to be so neglectful and my hair was very, very thankful when I was offered a complimentary session at the new RUSH Hair & Beauty Salon in Westbourne Grove.

If my hair could, it would have been jumping for joy.

Grinning like a loon!

Autumn is my favourite season, as I said here, but in this post I actually want to talk about why. I never think of January as the time to revitalise your life because when I look out of the window, it’s still winter. Autumn (or even Spring) is the best time for me because the change in season is so glaringly obvious. And I want that glaringly obvious change to be reflected in my life. This year there was one big thing I wanted to do and that was to cut my hair. And I mean cut my hair with all the emphasis possible.

After three years (four in a few months time) I decided to visit the hairdressers and get my hair cut. Before today it reached my hips. The ends were in decent condition but it all looked a little blah. A little dull and lackluster. So today I went to Taylor Taylor London and emerged looking like this.

If you live in the UK right now you will know how strange the weather has been. Especially in London. We have had unseasonably mild weather plus winds that can blow roof tiles off roofs / roovs (rooves?). But more than that it means my hair won’t stay in place.
