I have never had the chance to either paddle board or do SUP Pilates before. And when I heard about a new class starting up in the Docklands I jumped at the chance! It’s so, so popular now and along with my review I have listed all the information on how you can also get involved.

I spent my Saturday working every area of my body in one of the best HIIT classes I have had the pleasure to go to: PHIIT. A mixture of Pilates and HIIT the 45 minute class had me grinning from ear to ear and very sweaty. The class I did was PHIIT Hybrid and it’s a mixture of cardio, resistance training, and Pilates. It was dynamic and fast paced and I loved it.

I don’t know what’s happening to me. In three days I have been to two Pilates classes. If I keep this up I will actually be allowed to say the sentence ‘I do Pilates’ without being an outright liar. Last night’s Pilates classes was run by Planet Organic and hosted by the wonderful Lottie Murphy. I battled through tourists and Oxford Circus station during the rush hour to get to the store on time. Of course this meant I was so early I was first (by about 20 minutes) but it was fine because Lottie was very nice and we both chatted until other people turned up.

Last weekend I had the chance to be part of Pukka and Move Pop Up Gym‘s #PukkaWellness event in Dalston Heights. There was going to be an hour’s Pilates class followed by talks around wellness (more on all of this later). Elle and Sweaty Betty had joined forces to run a Pilates class in every single one of their stores on the same day at the same time. I bought a ticket for their Selfrides boutique, location was later changed to their Kings Road store, and counted down the days. I had never done Pilates before.
