My first ever sports bra was a Shock Absorber one. I loved it and it suited my needs perfectly. However after working out more and developing muscles on my upper back, shoulders, and arms I found it really difficult to take the bra off. Enter stage left the new Ultimate Run Bra. I was so excited to try it on and do a few workouts with it. My review is below!
Stretching the truth on Instagram…we all do that don’t we? We pretend we ‘woke up like this’ when really it took 35 minutes to get the pillow creases from our face. No one wants to see pillow creases. What Katie Brenner does in Sophie Kinsella’s My Not So Perfect Life is take that one step further. She takes pictures of other people’s food and coffees when they are in the loo and posts it.
Yes. She does that.
When I read that I realised I couldn’t quite relate to Katie Brenner as much as I probably should have.
At the end of 2016 Beyond the Bathroom Scale’s Karen Oliver sent me a copy of her 12 Week Health, Fitness, and Wellness Planner. I was so excited to use this but when it arrived was actually terrified of getting started. So I put it off. Then I put it off a little more. Once 2017 started I gave myself a stern talking to and opened this beautiful planner.
Last week I won a competition thanks to the amazing Jen who tagged me in an Instagram competition. The prize? A three day juice cleanse from CPress. I have had CPress’ juices and always thought of them as being delicious but had never done a juice cleanse before (from any company). So I was really looking forward to trying this and seeing what would happen.
Last year I had the pleasure of interviewing Genevieve Cogman. This was just before the release of the third book in her Invisible Library series and when I interviewed Genevieve I had read only the first two. Now I have read The Burning Page, the third in the series. I was so excited about reading this book and if you follow me on Instagram you would have seen me raving about it on Instagram stories.
Librarian spy Irene has standards to maintain, especially while on probation. And absconding from a mission via a besieged building doesn’t look good. But when her escape route home goes up in flames, what’s a spy to do? However, it seems Gates back to the Library are malfunctioning across dozens of worlds. Worse still, her nemesis Alberich is responsible — and he plans to annihilate the Library itself.
Irene and assistant Kai are posted to St Petersburg to help combat this threat. Here Alberich emerges as Irene tries to save her friend Vale and foil assassination attempts. Then one incredibly dangerous opportunity to save the Library emerges. Saving herself would be a bonus…
